School Days

 

Echo Park School is located west of the village of Archerwill, Saskatchewan.

The students below are preparing for the parade at the annual track & field day.

I am third from the right (and barely visible).

From 1942-50 I attended grades 1 to 9 at this one-room school.

 

I attended Archerwill High School for grades 10 to 12.

In the picture below I am standing at the far left, next to our teacher, Ken Waters.

Ken Waters taught all grades 10 to 12 during the three years 1950-53 that I was there.

 

From 1953-57 I attended the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.

Below is the 1957 graduating class of Electrical Engineering.

I am located 6th from the left (in the centre row).
